I got a new Nokia N97 and the OEM stylus was lost on the first day (plus is really ugly IMHO). I never found a need to get another stylus. But, becuase my wife decided to adopt my new phone and was used to her P1i, she wanted a stylus, and I wanted to get a nicer one than the original, so I gave this a shot.
Short Review – My wife loves this and uses it every day. It still looks new after a month of heavy usage and does not show any signs of wear even on the moving parts. We are particular about our gadgets, but would not hesitate to buy another one of these.
PROS:
-The white color is pearlescent and very nice; much more attractive (classier)than plain white.
-The operation of the stylus is simple. As you pull the the handle (the longer part) from the short part attached to the phone, the tip of the stylus is slightly ‘stuck’ in the short part, so that the stylus fully extends out as the handle is pulled away in a simple 1-handed operation. To return the stylus, just push it back into the small part again and it clicks securely closed.
-The silver colored part of the stylus all seems to be made of a light weight metal, and the construction is solid for such a small item.
-After a month of heavy use, the chrome colored parts do not show any kind of chipping, scratches, or wear of any sort; it still looks as good as the day it arrived.
CONS: None
I got this for my Nokia Nuron, which has a resistive touch screen. The color of this stylus goes well with the Nuron and the strap makes it easy to replace that useless little lanyard with stylus pick that came with the phone. If you have a device with a capacitive touch screen (like any apple products), this stylus, nor any other, will work properly. Double check with your phone’s user manual, or call your cell carrier’s customer service and make sure your phone’s touch screen is RESISTIVE!...
